VCA provides a highly reliable and accurate tracking engine with intelligent detection filters that automate the monitoring and analysis of CCTV images, improving the efficiency of your security staff and allowing you to cost-effectively capture statistics about customer behavior.

VCA is extremely effective for both indoor and outdoor use, and across a wide range of surveillance applications involving people, vehicles, and other objects. Intelligent analytics include intrusion detection, vehicle monitoring, abandoned object detection, people counting and loitering detection. Additionally, VCA can detect camera tampering and failure to help ensure your surveillance solution is never compromised.

Application	Description	Solution
Intrusion/Perimeter Detection	The camera now acts as a presence sensor, alerting immediately when a moving object is detected in a specified zone.
Intelligent Motion Detection	Compared to standard Video Motion Detection, VCA enabled devices are resistant to sources of false alarm due to changing environmental conditions such as illumination, rain, foliage movement and wind-induced camera shake.
Camera Tampering & Failure Detection	Gain immediate alerts when cameras are no longer providing effective coverage due to vandalism.
People Counting	Collect enter and exit counting data with no need for human intervention to measure area traffic over time. When combined with a Digiop Elements system that is integrated with EPOS data, you know have the ability at producing conversion rate information to measure store performance.
Tailgating Detection	Individuals loitering near access doors may be looking to “tailgate” an authorized member of staff in order to gain access to the premises or to a restricted area. Detect this activity and alert the operator when it occurs.
Object Classification	VCA-PRO can classify objects for added detection filtering. Zones or detection lines can decipher the object for additional alert filtering such as only alerting on people versus vehicles.
Stop Detection	Alerts based on objects entering a defined area and completely stopping for predefined time periods. Fully manage no parking zones, drop off zones, pedestrian walkways, and bus lanes.
Vehicle Monitoring	More accurately enforce parking and traffic regulations by monitoring for stopped vehicles, ‘wrong way’ traffic, and adding speed filters alerting . Vehicles can also be counted to gather information on total traffic flow within an area.
Loitering Detection	Individuals who are simply “hanging around” are often up to no good. VCA can draw operators’ attention to this suspicious behavior, enabling more effective monitoring of CCTV images.
Object Removal Detection	Identify when an object has been removed from a scene, providing effective protection of high-value items such as works of art, jewelry and expensive electronics or machinery.
Abandoned Object Detection	Generate an alert highlighting an abandoned object, allowing DIGIOP ELEMENTS to immediately show footage of when the item appeared, allowing the owner to be identified and correct action to be taken.
